Unexpected Cost Alerts

In addition to being alerted when costs exceed specific budget thresholds, you can also be alerted when an unexpected cost occurs. OnSpend automatically determines an expected cost range based on historical spend patterns. When a cost exceeds this predicted range, OnSpend can notify you of the anomaly in cost, so you can identify potential runaway spend.

Currently, anomalies are evaluated daily on Billing Account resource types. Anomaly detection is enable by default on all billing accounts in OnSpend, however, you must subscribe to receive alerts by configuring a watch on a billing account.
